Ranked within Canada’s top 40 General Contractors, Buttcon Ltd. is an established company specializing in institutional, commercial, industrial, and multi-unit residential construction. Buttcon was one of the shortlisted proponents for a large-scale renovation and expansion at VIA Rail’s Toronto Maintenance Centre. The design-build proposal included significant requirements for written and other supporting content, and the firm was seeking support for the development process.
Evenden & Co joined the team about halfway through the proposal development to provide assistance with the overall process. Working closely with Buttcon’s in-house marketing and estimating team, we supported all aspects of the technical proposal development and delivery.
The winning proposal met all mandatory and rated requirements and the Buttcon team was chosen as the successful proponent for Via Rail’s Toronto Maintenance Centre.
